Both Westwood and Jimenez shot 68 in the third round to catch Thongchai Jaidee (69), who held the lead after round two. Quiros shot 67 to join the foursome for the lead.

Rory Mcllroy is next in line at nine under par after shooting a third round 69.

Westwood, who won the Dubai World Championship last November, is expecting a final round shootout.

"If the weather stays calm as it did for the third round it's going to be a birdie feast," Westwood said.
