Phil Mickelson: By the Numbers at the Shell Houston Open


Phil Mickelson earned his 39th PGA Tour title with his win at the Shell Houston Open. He went low on the weekend with rounds of 63 and 65 to win by three strokes over Scott Verplank and Chris Kirk. Mickelson led the field in birdies for the week with 27 and passed Tiger Woods in the world rankings while doing so. He now heads to Augusta as the favorite to win for the second straight year and fourth time overall.
