The ratings were down 14% from last year at the PGA Championship and a ridiculous 43% from 2009, the year Y.E. Yang defeated Tiger Woods.
Obviously, part of that is because there was no Tiger or other big names at the very top of the leaderboard.
However, it does not help when CBS and the PGA decide to show about 30 minutes of commercials per hour. Whoever is in charge should be fired immediately.
They need to take after the Masters, which only has four minutes of commercials per hour. The Masters has stellar coverage. The PGA yesterday was horrendous.
